There are many reasons that might make bathtub to shower conversion a practical idea. Showers are much cleaner than tubs, and they are also more efficient while wasting less water. It may be difficult for the disabled and the elderly to use a tub, so taking showers with the use of a bath chair is ideal.

Regardless of if a tub is cleaned every single day, it will still have bacteria in the bathwater. As debris is washed off the body, it remains in the bathwater and can spread to any part of the body. This is why it is so easy for urinary tract infections to occur in individuals who take baths every day.

Taking showers is the best way to keep the dirt and bacteria off the body. Bacteria is washed down the drain with water and soap. Every part of the body can be washed simultaneously, which saves time and water.

Preparing a bath means filling the entire tub with water. Then, it may be necessary to rinse again after the bath. Taking showers takes less than half the amount of water it takes to fill up a tub. Baths are a waste of water and take up too much time.

Those who have limited mobility might not be able to climb into a tub and lay down to take a bath. It might be dangerous for them to be left all alone in a tub. By installing some steel bars and a nonslip chair, those who are disabled can take a bath by themselves without any help.

Installing bathtub to shower conversion takes a short period of time and is available for most bathrooms. It is more modern and adds value to any house. The bathroom will be more efficient and feels completely new.
